A cultural event, which is organized by Nipobon Preparatory School. The festival of eating newly grown autumnal rice in the month of Agrahayan, the 8th month of Bengali calendar year. It is Late Autumn, the 4th season among the 6th in our country. It’s a season of white clouds without rain. Fields full with ripen paddy gives an awesome view. The harvest sets in and the paddy then fills every mind with great joy. The whole rural Bangladesh wore a festive look this time.
The people of Bangladesh are highly delighted and cheerful during this season. New crops, money, new dream, new passion generates inside every rural people in Bangladesh. It's a traditional festival and it is too much colorful and noble-natured. But we are missing it day by day due to globalization. Nipobon makes it unique, symbolic. Create an environment through makeup, costume, props, etc. and celebrates every year with full Nipobon family. It’s among one of the mind blowing events of Nipobon Preparatory School.
